Highlands Questions

Featured Replies

Highlands has also added Campbell Co to the '10 schedule. But this would not likely have anything to do with KHSAA rumors.

Highlands could make it to the finals this year in 6A (would not see Louisville until cahmpionship)

I would feel very sorry for 3A if they made HHS drop down to 3A level. As for 6A, there has become enough teams in this area that you may see all teams in NKY either go up to 6A or drop to 4A if they're not careful. 5A teams are starting to become sparse. I just hope that no matter what happens, they DO keep the kids best interest in mind.

Actually the toughest game they had last year was at 3A Louisville Central.

I know, I was there. However, after Central, I think the level falls off quite a bit compared to HHS. I know I'll hear it about that.

If Highlands is not playing Trinity, then I apologize. I thought I saw a thread in the pre-season where the Highlands fans said that Trinity was on the schedule.

I'm not saying that Highlands, necessarily, wants to move to 6A, I was only going on what was talked about in the off season, that the KHSAA was only going to allow teams to move up to 6A. That may have been bad information as well. Just topic for discussion.

But, nonetheless, what if all the above was true? Do you think Highlands would move to 6A, or stay in 3A? If made to make a decision.

I'm pretty sure that Highlands and Trinity talked but couldn't make things work schedule wise.

There may have been some talk by a couple of coaches in re changing the move up option, but according to my sources at the KHSAA, it was never even considered by the Board of Control.

I really don't know what Highlands would do if that came to pass. It would be totally stupid for the KHSAA to impose that rule.
