Henry County dominated in all areas, but TJ Cooper from Eminence was the real deal.

I wasn't trying to imply that you were wrong because it sounded like you were there. I was just meaning that something had to have gone wrong when it was called in since there was such a big discrepancy in Eminence's score.

Henry Co. dominated this game in every way. Eminence was just out played and out manned. Henry Co's Cody Hinkel went down in the 4th with and injury and had to be taken out on a stretcher. Please pray for him! Next week Henry will have a tough district battle at Western Hills, which should be a great game.

Well, Howdy neighbors and what a glorious Saturday morning it is. Henry County completely dominated their arch rival Eminence 55-6 for what seems to be the last time in the series. What a shame. I think after watching the contest most people see why Eminence Coach Fro says they have a scheduling conflict with H.C. They don't have a scheduling conflict they have a competition conflict. Just don't have what they need to make a game of it. The schools should have consolidated long ago anyways. By the way #33 has bruised ribs and nothing more. Good for him and the Wildcats. Tough district game this next week at Western Hills. Good luck Cats and take it to those overgrown green lizards Friday night. Get me outta here Percy, Kentucky vs. Alabama this afternoon. Ribs on the smoker. Hope they can make a game of it.

Sorry Cats, your game Friday will be against a pack of overgrown ground hogs (wolverines) and not lizards as previously posted. Leonard's still celebrating the win against the semi-warriors.

Get your facts stright!! Henry County is the one who only gave one date to play the gqme next year, which was the first week, meaning both teams would have to give up a scrimmage. Frommeyer has been playing Henry County for 25 years, trust me he has no conflict playing Henry, just ask the 6 coaches who have come and gone at Henry while he has been at Eminence.

Maybe the NO defeat has clouded some people's thinking and they are forgetting the facts.

I understand the big Rivalry part............but don't know that I would "gloat" that much about a 1A competing against a really good 3A team.

 

Seem like they should get credit for standing up and taking on HC.

 

Does HC play up and take on any 5A teams? Wonder how they would do agains a Highlands or a Bowling Green. JMHO.

And besides, when was the last time Eminence played a full 11-man schedule anyway? Gotta give the Warriors a lot of credit. The program seems to be going the right way for them, especially from what I've heard from one of their regular scrimmage opponents. :thumb:

Wrong! Get your facts straight. Eminence was first contacted in April and asked what date they wanted to play. Fro didn't respond for several weeks and when he did he couldn't give a date until July due to needing to meet with the other 8 man teams. He says he wants fo focus on more 8man games outside his district. There were several weeks open on HC's schedule, non fit his agenda at the time due to not knowing who was going to play them in 8 man...and that is a fact! He said he could not committ to a date and would just play a scrimmage if possible. Try checking your facts before you get on here!

Yes, they play Scott (5A). If I reacall Henry was very down two years ago. Their new schedule will have South Oldham, Anderson, Owensboro Cath. They are also in the NCKC which means they are obligated to play teams such as Owen, Trimble, Carroll..etc. All of which have been competitive games in the past. Those teams are just a little down right now, those will be competitive again.

 

Seriously though. Not many are competitive wiht Highlands and BG, in any class!
