Cheap Flights

My step dad & 4 year old nephew are going to Arizona in a week or two & the round trip cost 'em $600 and that was from Priceline.

Priceline is they way we are thinking of going....but we noticed that the fly out time varied but the arrival time and fly home time was guaranteed. They said that our fly out time could be any time between early in the morning the day we chose all the way to 12:23am the next day, so there is that possibility to lose a day. I am sure there are ways around that though we just haven't looked to into it yet.

The wife and I are wanting to go to New York in Dec. I got on priceline, and found 2 tickets, round trip for $378. Is this a really good deal, or can we find some lower?
Try to find a place who's credit card machine is not working, maybe lightning will strike twice,
If anyone finds any cheap tickets to Vegas for December let me know! :D

Leaving from where???

If you can fly round trip for less than $200 a person jump on it. The leaving times that aren't for sure would worry me. What was the airline that price line had you on? Go to that airlines web site and get your tickets they will be a little less.

The cheaps airline trip out there today is Southwest, Go to their web site and check and see if they fly in and out of the places you need too. They don't fly in and out of everywhere.

Whats a round trip flight to Vegas run you these days? I might be looking to go out during March Madness.

Right now out of Dayton, for Decembe, it would cost around $300 round trip. December is a down time for Vegas, and March is one of the busiest times. The airfare would go up, I would assume, and I know room rates would too.

Has anyone used priceline before to get tickets? More interested in the naming your price.

We never use priceline, I'm not sure about the name your own price. I have and do lookup prices and airlines on Cheap Tickets, Orbits. They are all really the same. What I said before was look up your flight on one of these sites and then go to that airlines web site. You will be able to get your tickets for less. If you want, I'll help you find the best price. Sometimes leaving from a different airport will save you $150-$200 dollars. (Louisville vs Lexington) Southwest is the best airline tickets right now but not for long. When their new fuel charges hits them they will be back with everyone else but they don't fly into all airports. Parking at the airport, there is a long term parking lot at every one. If you're gone more than week then you may need to look into seeing if you can park close (some hotels will allow it) and taxi to and from the airport. Long term parking will cost you anywhere from 6 to 10 dollars a day. 5 days, 6 bucks = $30. (worth it) Its just eaiser to park there than intrupt your friends because flights are not always on time. You can find out what the parking fees are by loging onto the airports web site. If you want to PM me you can..........LTW.

PS. I fly all the time now with my new job, I'm even flying back to Ky to watch my kid play football each weekend. Beieve me I'm searching for the cheapest flights possible.

Thank you so much everyone for helping us out. We actually were able to name our price on Priceline and got 2 round trip tickets to NYC for $501. Not bad I don't think. They are non refundable and non changeable. That's the only thing I don't like about that. Flying on a budget can suck sometimes I guess. So we just have to pray that it all goes well for us leaving that date. The times of arrival and departure are great though and on the dates we wanted.
