September 29, 200817 yr Can we now admit the obvious? Sarah Palin is utterly unqualified to be vice president. She is a feisty, charismatic politician who has done some good things in Alaska. But she has never spent a day thinking about any important national or international issue, and this is a hell of a time to start. Fareed Zakaria echoes my thoughts on the matter. Zakaria is notoriously neutral when it comes to politics and usually doesn't say much bad about folks. For him to say this is a big deal.

I believe that more should be done to eliminate guns in homes where idiots who don't store them properly have children who shoot themselves and their friends. Of course, I realize a child's life is not nearly as important as that big screen TV someone worked so hard for. I also don't base my vote entirely on the 2nd amendment right but it goes a long way in what I think about a certain candidate. Also, there are enough gun laws on the books to protect against the idiots you mentioned but the liberal judges don't have enough backbone to enforce them properly. If the present gun laws are strictly enforced it would go a long way in putting this type of discussion to rest.

I was just listing some examples of what the "illustrious:rolleyes:" Senator Obama has done by his voting and speaking records, ( I don't care how someone tries to spin them, they are docmented facts!) There have been some here in earlier post that stated they wanted to see proof of Obama's anti gun agenda so I merely povided small amount of it. Should one want t see more "specifics" then I believe they could find them...."IF" they wanted to. I am also a Christian so.. I guess that I do "cling to my religion", I am proud law abiding citizen and gun owner so.. I guess that I do "cling to my guns". That being said I can specifically remember the most anti gun politician in Amrican history (Obama) making a statement that went somethng to the effect of "some people cling to their guns and religion":rolleyes:. Well, this is one that will always cling to my religion and my gun ownership rights that he wants to take away. To put it plainly...
