THEGREENDANDY Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Great game Tigers! Daylen Hall opens the game with a 85 yd Ko return for a TD. Hall also had a int and a TD rushing for about 50yds. Zach Clooney looked great on the D-line pressuring the Manual QB all night. Jay Hayden solid with over 100 yds rushing and I think 2tds. LB Bickel was delivering big hits the entire game.
miragesmack Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 A little OT, but Daylen's sister is a fantastic field hockey player as well at Mercy. Very athletic, so it runs in the family I suppose. Nice job Tigers. After Trinity, Manual is the next team I like to see X beat.
RockPride Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I bet you were quite the happy camper then.

Dayen sure knows where the end zone is.
xfootballfamily Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Any news on the frosh? The freshmen won 19-13 but don't let the score fool you. Manual threw a hail mary with 10 seconds to go in the game. The Manual freshmen team are some very big boys! Does anyone know if they played sophomores??

The Manual freshmen team are some very big boys! Does anyone know if they played sophomores?? Yeah, but it was 6-0 at half and Manual stalled twice in the red zone. The first half looked very even. Manual looked bigger than us on the line. Zach Montgomery had a great TD run in the first half to give the Tigers a spark.

RowdyRedRam Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Does anyone know if they played sophomores??Very, very, very unlikely.
THEGREENDANDY Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Very, very, very unlikely. No Manual sophs played. I know that for a fact. The McNair kid is going to be a player. This will be a strong Manual class.
ram2003 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 No Manual sophs played. I know that for a fact. The McNair kid is going to be a player. This will be a strong Manual class. I said this about the 06 class when they were frosh (and I was a senior). They lost to Trinity in one of the better Freshmen games in memory. The problem was that the class couldn't keep the chemistry going between classes. Hopefully this one will do better in that aspect. And, though it's been answered twice, I should mention again that Manual, to my knowledge, has NEVER played sophomores in a Freshmen game.
