February 11, 200917 yr Author I thought I would update the dog lovers of BGP of my new purchase. I compromised with my wife and we didn't get a Great Dane, yet. Mainly due to uncertainities of where we will live in the next 3-4 years. The compromise was all one sided though as you can see. We got a lovely baby boy named Winston from Shivley, Kentucky. He weighs all of 20 ounces.

He weighs all of 20 ounces. That's the cutest dog I think I have every seen. What kind is he? I want one. Quite a size difference compared to a Great Dane lol.
February 12, 200917 yr Author What kind of dog is that 3W? Chihuahaua The litter he was born in had only one other, a sister. When we picked him up at 8 weeks old, the sister was twice his size and was bullying him. There were 12 other Chihuahaua's in the home. His parents are having another litter as we speak. February 12, 200917 yr 3- PLEASE tell me you don't live in an apartment, or if you do, that you have plenty of time for a Great Dane. The girl who used to live upstairs from me had a Great Dane, and she was gone ALL THE TIME! The poor thing howled and scratched for hours and hours EVERY day! She didn't walk him but twice in the year that she lived there. I've never felt sorrier for a dog in my life! Oh...and be prepared to clean up a lot of doody....as big as horse doody! :eek: The Great Dane was a beautiful, loving dog though. I just personally think it's incredibly cruel to not spend time with it, or make sure the space you have available for it is adequate for good excercise, etc. The expression "Holy Cow" takes on an entirely new meaning.:lol:
