Grant County has a Freshman team.

Any freshman teams looking for a game on 10-6???? Tates Creek needs one they are 2-2 right now. Neighbor's son plays on team.

I know that Rowan Co., Montgomery Co., Mason Co., Fleming Co., Harrison Co., and Bourbon Co. have freshmen teams.

 

Bourbon Co. plays their 8th Graders mixed with Freshmen, due to the numbers. They have 12, 8th and 3, 9th graders on this years team.

Marion County has a Freshman team.

Corbin has a freshmen team.

It is suprising to me that people think that all schools have a freshman team. I know of alot of schools that don't have freshman teams. Sometimes the smaller schools have a hard time having a freshman basketball team.

Fort Campbell

Newport has average a total of 30 to 35 freshman players for the past 4 seasons. That is impressive when about 5 years ago they were lucky to have 11 freshmen players to put on the field.

Henry County also has a Freshmen team

Meade Co. Meades freshmen are 5-0 this year. They have had a total of 22 points scored on them this year

It can be tough for even the larger schools to field Freshmen/JV teams. Let's face it, JV teams are never the same two weeks in a row, depending on who the coach decides to pull up for the varsity game on Friday night.

Harlan Black Bears Freshmen 28-20 over Bell Co Freshman (plus 4 Sophomores) tonight 28-20. Our younger cubs are looking good. In a year or two most will be full grown bears and in my opinion will be a force to be reckoned with. GO BLACK BEARS
