This game could decide who gets the No. 1 seed in the 6AD2.

 

More specifically, I've heard UK-bound Larod King of North will not play because of the quad injury he sustained against BG. I was told there was something on the News-Enterprise site about it, but I can't find it because something screwy about their Web site makes my Mac at work go nuclear.

 

If King doesn't play, I would have to give the advantage to Nelson Co. He just about singlehandedly beat the Cardinals last year. I won't be able to go, unfortunately.

I'd give the advantage to Nelson County any way. I don't see what other see in North Hardin. Last year I saw a team that Warren Central beat despite 6 first half turnovers, and this year I saw a team that was losing to Warren Central at halftime (and went on to lose) despite the Dragons having -7 of offense in the first half and North Hardin having 200+. There's nothing about them that is that great, and without King, it's even more glaring.

North is having a rough time finding its identity and playing Nelson County will not help them find it. Look for a game the first half, but the Cardinals should have the game well in hand by the 4th quarter.

I think JD Dog is right on. NC plays several of their younger guys but they ARE talented. Ball control will be the key.

Jim, don't know where you heard LaRod wasn't playing, but none of those rumors are true.

 

But even with King at QB, I still say Nelson wins with its option attack.
