Anybody who cannot admit the heavy media bias in favor of Obama in this campaign who believes that they are not as biased as the next guy needs to get a second opinion.:lol:

Much like the right has an interest in exaggerating media bias and stoking it at every opportunity. It sells, and it's easy for either side to blame their candidates' shortcomings and questionable dealings on media bias.

With a major network assigning hacks like Olbermann and Matthews to anchor its coverage of the Republican convention, no exaggeration is necessary. :lol:

 

It is amazing to watch people claiming that media bias is not a big issue when more than 80 percent of those covering national news have admitted to voting for Democratic presidential candidates in the last several elections. I will be shocked if that percentage does not go even higher in November.

Olbermann, I grant you, but you constantly overstate Matthews' alleged partisanship.

Journalists are trained and paid to be objective in their reporting and separate their personal views from their professional conduct. If you feel it's not being done, you're insulting their professional ethics.

CNN dispatched a team of reporters to Alaska based on an unfounded smear by the Daily Kos. Where are those big well financed right wing equivalents of the Daily Kos, MoveOn.org, Media Matters, the Democratic Underground, and the Huffington Post. You know, the sites that just make stuff up that get picked up and repeated by the mainstream media?

 

 

The McCain campaign fits these criteria quite acurately! :laugh:
