I am only agreeing with FC, because this seems too easy a decision for even him to screw up, so I will stick with my original prediction and say that Ludlow will dominate the up front battle, which will help contain Richardson.:ylsuper:

Nobody else has been run out of town, by the school board, for not winning. What would make you think that Coach Hornsby would be? And what makes you think he won't win?

I'm not sure if Dayton has the line to open up gaps for Richardson and help protect Sherlock in the pocket. Ludlow will have atleast one defensive touchdown and will win the game.

I will disagree with who you think will this game but I have to agree with your comments regarding Coaches Deaton and Hornsby. Both men are quality individuals. Coach Hornsby is a quality individual whom the kids like and respect from all that I hear. Understanding that winning is very cyclical at the small schools it is then vitally important to have very positive role models to coach our kids. In my opinion and from what others have told me about Coach Hornsby I believe that Ludlow has once again found just that type of individual in Coach Hornsby..Good luck to both teams friday night.

:confused:As far as I know the Principal and Superintendent do the hiring and firing of employees in a school district but I might be wrong. The remarks made by MACLA sort of confused me as well..

I have only had the pleasure of talking to Coach Hornsby once, and in just that one time talking to him I really liked him. He really is a quality individual, and I really like what he had to say. He seems to really care as well about doing whats best for this program from the top to the bottom.

 

I think he will be here for at least as long as he want to be. People might just need to be a little patient. He put in a new offense this year after 5 straight years of running the spread. So there is a learning curve there, and once the players start to fully grasp this offense, I think we will see the team start to do really well.

 

The future looks bright for Ludlow because there is A LOT of talent in the youth system right now. The key is for those players to stay at Ludlow, and their parents not taking them to another school. Because this group coming up in the youth program has the chance to do something really special if they all just stay together. They are very talented and would have a good coach in Coach Hornsby and staff to coach them.
