GCHS by 6 or less and maybe even in an o.t..

With what I seen Friday (kids playing hard, some good hitting which we didn't see much of the first two weeks), I will say GC 28 - 14.

Rowan County has a new Head Coach,ShaDon Brown, & a new staff of bright young assistants that are doing a wonderful job with the program. They will be well prepared & both squads should be healthy after an open date. This ought to be a good contest.

This also the first district game for each.

Rowan's new coach has brought a lot of excitement to the program. If they can win this game then I think it will lead to them having a very good season.

Right On Shaft. Greenup got off to a slow start last season hats off to Coach

Sammons got a few problems corrected & had a really nice run in the playoffs. I was proud of the way they represented themselves & their district .They do have some of those guys back & that experience to draw on. Rowan is young but they believe in Coach Brown.

Could be Doc if they play like they are capable.

GC pulls this one out with great D, they are starting to hit and show some passion, they have played some tough teams and the final score of each was not even close as someone said in this thread but the last game against the pirates they showed some heart, first time this year.

Greenup finally wins and then heals up with a bye, awaiting Raceland.
