Not sure. The home team is the one that is supposed to call the scores in. When I watched the online replay of WYMT's Sports Overtime I saw the scores for the first two games you have listed so they had to have called them in to the station.

I added all three just now. They should refresh soon.

 

The KHSAA needs to penalize schools who do no submit scores, stats, and rosters. Illinois and Indiana both do this I think.

Actually, home or away, each team is responsible for calling in their scores.

Soccer and volleyball scores have been late this year too.

Probably a lazy AD who just lets the coaches do it. I can't see why the AD as soon as the game is over just pull his cell phone out and call it in.

It could be the AD's fault but I believe that it is the head coaches responsibilty to give that job to someone it probably doesn't take 2 minutes.

It is the HC's responsibility to see that it gets done, not the ADs.

When I was at Rockcastle County, I was always the one in charge of calling the scores in for the sports I did stats for. I would have a list of number I would write in the scorebooks at the beginning of each season for the people that would take my call. The KHSAA Scoreboard was always tops on the list followed by like 4-7 numbers depending on the sport.

I agree. There should be seven or eight people in each program checking to make sure scores are posted.

To me, this is the perfect job for the assistant athletic director. Check the scoreboards each morning and add the scores of games of your schools, regardless of home and away.

Commander and True Blue - what is the point of having an AD then? A football coach is hired to coach football and an AD is hired to take care of the administrative end of sports. To me reporting scores is the AD's job or his job to assign it to someone (other than the coaching staff).

 

Yes there are some administrative duties the head coach has to perform but the AD should shoulder as much of that responsibility as possible. The coaching staff has just coached a game and they have to get films ready for review and trade, make sure the guys get in and out of the locker room, put equipment away and other stuff. So why should the coaches also have to do something that the AD can do?
