September 4, 200818 yr And Sen. McCain cancelling his Larry King appearance would be what exactly? A Mistake. Looks like he is pouting.
September 4, 200818 yr What reason did McCain give? Shoot, he went on MSNBC so CNN would be a walk in the park after that.
September 4, 200818 yr Why would Bill the master of the no spin zone go soft?Because that has been the tone in the past when interviewing political heavyweights. He treated Hillary with kid gloves and he has a big enough audience already to stroke his ego. He does not want to be accused of bias. Of course, Obama has not demonstrated very good skills in answering even basic questions in an interview setting, so if he screws this one up like the Rick Warren event, O'Reilly will probably get the blame anyway.
September 4, 200818 yr And Sen. McCain cancelling his Larry King appearance would be what exactly?I didn't know that he had planned to go on the King show and I do not know why he would want to waste his time on such a small audience of liberals. I doubt that fear was a factor. What reason did McCain give?
September 4, 200818 yr I didn't know that he had planned to go on the King show and I do not know why he would want to waste his time on such a small audience of liberals. I doubt that fear was a factor. What reason did McCain give? Change Axelrod/Obama to McCain et al and change FNC to CNN and you've got your answer.

Doesn't that goes against his "no spin zone" mantra that I keep hearing about?
September 4, 200818 yr Doesn't that goes against his "no spin zone" mantra that I keep hearing about? You don't hear that from me. I am not an O'Reilly fan.
September 5, 200818 yr Aces is right. Bill talks a tough game but his interviews are anything but pressing.
September 5, 200818 yr Author Part 1 of the interview was good. I think Obama did a good job. The segment dealt with National Security. O'Reilly praised Obama for not being "weak" as many portray.
