I thought HC graduated half of their offensive production? According the the KHSAA they graduated their top two recivers and a good running back didn't they? I thought those guys also played "D" as well? Not really sure though. This game will be a battle, TC has established themselves as a force over the past few years. No prediction just yet though.

 

In the CJ preveiw on FRiday it said Henry had 10 back on OFF and 11 on DEF.

Henry County lost 4 players that contributed last year.

Each of them started some of the games. The biggest difference is that the large Freshman class or now Sophs, the soph are now Juniors.

Henry County has worked extremly hard in the off season. Not many of their players play Basketball or Baseball. The kids did help in recruiting 2 basketball players to join them this year and both are helping.

Henry did lose 4 good players, but the soph class is a year older and better.

Trimble does not have a lot of varsity experience returning. QB Larry Sullivan played WR last year. RB Michael Edens saw some playing time last year when standout David Bird was injured. Treavor Smith saw OL experience last year and moves to center this year. Seniors Jordan Hunt and Aunner Posas each saw some playing time last. TC graduated 12 seniors last year, including a star running back, a lineman who is now starting at Kentucky Wesleyan (Corey Jones) and QB Justin Hawkes, now playing for Hanover College.

The outcome of this game will be Trimble's defense. Last year the D stifled Henry and if they perform the same way this year it should be quite a game. Trimble has the ability to put up some points. I know Poynter will have them ready.

Well good mornin' all you crazy pigskin fans. The weather has taken a turn for the better and it should be a great night under the lights. Last week both Henry and Trimble Counties showed they could put up some good numbers on the scoreboard. And their defenses were solid. Only one can be the winner tonight and spoil the other teams unbeaten record. Those high strung felines from New Castle are only going to get better and better as the season progresses. Don't forget they had only one opportunity to scrimmage pre season and did not work with officials even then. It was a learning experience last Sadday night against Ludlow. The Rambling Raiders were all over a very young Casey Co in their opener. The smart pill machine says Trimble will meet the Wildcats and won't be treated to tea and cookies. The Cats have had last year's game stuck in their craws since their trip to Bedford. The Wildcats should be hittin' on just about all cylinders tonight. The Raiders won't have enough answers to make it a game. Henry's defense will again be all over the field. When the air clears, Trimble's All-11 offense will be "All through" and they'll be glad to get on the bus home. Leonard's loser , Trimble County. Let go Percy, get me outta' here.

Just to make things straight,FYI You must remember that TRimble is also very young, even younger than Casey, as Casey had 9 seniors and Trimble has 4.
