August 31, 200818 yr LOL 310lbs of Glory. Every linemans dream :lol: I almost did that in high school once. Picked up the fumble and made it to around the 4 yard line. It wasn't meant to be however, I didn't have the speed and was sadly caught from behind and tackled by the quarter back :lol:

They were saying that's why the UofL receivers have dropped so many balls so yeah I am equating that to HS. Either way, you should be able to catch a ball. Maybe not everyone but like I said, they have dropped way to many today..:lol: :thumb:

August 31, 200818 yr Man its just gonna get worse for UL... Or....it could get better! For a team that lost...what? 21 scholarship players from last year, that has no defensive depth, and no experienced receiver corp, I think there are reasons to think things will get better.

That sure sounds like coaching errors and recruiting errors to me.

Some of the attrition was due to graduation/leaving for the draft. Some due to injury. All in all, I'd say that the defense sounds like it was better than last year's opener. It does worry me though, what the lack of depth will do against a good team. Offensively, we're very young. I see lots of reasons to think things will get better. And, if the season doesn't turn out stellar, there's always next year. Coach K is faced with building a team right now, one with character and I'm behind him 100%. The UL fans who call for his head at this point, I'll simply equate to the irrational UK fans of Brooks early years.

In your opinion do you believe if UL has a terrible season (4 wins or less) Coach K will be let go ?
