August 27, 200818 yr We have received word from reliable sources close to the situation that BGP poster, Rockmom has agreed to become a Democratic Party operative. Insiders report that the staunchly independent and non-partisan mom has agreed to provide technical services to a candidate running for a major office. Although the name of the candidate was not disclosed, the campaign is believed to be more than just a "local" one. Rockmom declined comment late today, stating that "her chicken was burning." It was not readily apparent if this was some sort of euphemism, or perhaps a coded message to her candidate's other followers. Friend and co-mom, Tony Danza expressed shock and dismay upon hearing of the development. "I always knew she leaned a little to the left; but I just thought it was her bad knees," said Danza.
