:thumb: If you compared the number of people who have ruined their lives solely because of pot and compared it to the number of Lawyers/Judges/Police/Nurses/Doctors etc. who smoke occasionally in the privacy of their own home the numbers wouldn't even be close.

Where are you getting these stats? I would think that, at most, you would know only five or six each of the thousands of Lawyers/Judges/Police/Nurses/Doctors etc. that exist in America today. I can't see how you can make a comparison of any kind, especially if they are doing it "in the privacy of their own homes".

Look, I have friends, relatives, and acquaintances also. I have seen first hand numerous times how the drug causes apathy, loss of focus, and wasted potential. You will not convince me that getting high is justifiable.

I find that many many people have a "drug" to help them relax and/or cope. Prozac, Wellbutrin, Ativan, Xanax, Seroquel, Ambien..........I could go on and on. These drugs are big money so someone has to be taking them. .

How does the use of one drug justify the use of another? If a person has an illness and uses a prescribed drug, that is usually understandable. Recreational use of any drug or alcohol is, to me, unacceptable.

I don't have any stats, I'm just telling how it is in the real world. If you can't accept that, then that's a whole different story.

I say get high all you want as long as you stay off the road and don't give it to kids!

I know plenty of people who are very productive members of society and that have great jobs and have been smoking for years and have never did any other drugs, so that gateway crap is just that crap. Don't judge someone who does pot. Everyone has a vice, some gambling, some smoking, some drink.

I say smoke up, I'm not your creator, who am I to judge, if God has a problem with it, he'll deal with you later, but as far as I'm concerned its all natural so no harm.

Maybe some of y'all really do need it.
