August 23, 200818 yr Well they should let him go for sure. He's a grown man acting like a 3rd grader, get him off television.
August 23, 200818 yr I didn't know about this, just hilarious. No, I don't condone the use of that word, but in the context of the conversation they were having and the immature way he threw it in there, that's what was funny to me.
August 23, 200818 yr I finally viewed it and I think they should fire him. He obviously let his emotions get the best of him on live TV. He thinks he has it all and I am tired of Tiki Barber. Fire him !!! He couldnt get the ring and gave up on his teammates and I think its hilarious that they won the Superbowl the year after he left.

Awfully tough crowd.
August 24, 200818 yr A man isn't entitled to retire whenever he wants? Awfully tough crowd. Sure but this guy thinks he is the next best thing since sliced bread, always has since his UVA days. Smart, articulate, professional athlete and very pompous. He has a ways to go to make it in the News Business. I do love how he called that broad out though. That was worth watching a few times.

He (and his brother) made a $1 million donation to their alma mater, Virginia. Tiki Barber also has plenty of records for the New York Giants: The longest TD run - 95 yards most Rushing TD's in a career - 55 Most rushing Attempts in a season & in a career. Most 100 yard games Most 200 yard games Most rushing yards in a single game with 234. Most rushing yards in a season & in a career Most total yards in a season Most 1,000 yard seasons - 6 Most total yards in a game: 276 Most total yards in a career - 17,359 He's the 3rd player to gain more than 10,000 rushing yards & 5,000 receiving yards in the NFL, joining Marshall Faulk & Marcus Allen. He was the 1st player in NFL history with 1,800 rushing yards & 500 receiving yards in 1 season. He won the Doak Walker Award in college, naming him the best RB in the nation. Sure, he retired "early", but he let his team know in October that he was planning to retire, so that they could prepare accordingly. He's even on the Vanity Fair best dressed list. Is he arrogant, or has he just accomplished that much?
