August 23, 200818 yr I would have to think of the criteria for best coach. Is it the best recruiter or the best at coaching the game. As far as a coaching the game, I would say: Rich Brooks, Kansas' coach, Paul Johnson, Urban Meyer, and the coach at Wake Forest. Best at recruiting is obviously Pete Carroll, then in no particular order: Meyer, Les Miles, Stoops, and Mack Brown. Spurrier coukld be list in either of these groups, but I am a UK fan and can't do that since I simply refer to Spurrier as Satan.
August 23, 200818 yr Mark Richt - Georgia Mike Bellotti - Oregon Jim Tressel - OSU Pete Carroll - USC Greg Schiano - Rutgers I obviously forget to list Coach Schiano on my list, I own his DVD from the Nike clinic Probably the best coaching the game in both areas. Rutgers was teriible at footbal for like 100 years, and now he has them doing great. I really thougt he would take the Miami job, I wish he had.
August 25, 200818 yr Not talking all time history, talking on top of the game right now: Pete Carroll Urban Myer Mark Richt Nick Saban Les Miles I am a fan of what Mizzo's coach has done. Watch that program this year as he has totally turned things around there. I also like Bellotti and think Tressell has done a fine job too. If it were all time that are still coaching I'd go: Jo Pa Bobby Bowden Steve Spurrier Tommy Tubberville Mack Brown
