NewCath ran two offensive plays, "Hold Regal Lowe" and "Regal Lowe Makes the Tackle".

They must have held pretty well, because the ran the ball whenever they wanted.

Last year high snaps were a problem and in this scrimmage they had a lot of high snaps as well

 

Was it a new snapper? I heard they moved their center to tackle (?) this year. Wasn't he 2nd team all NKY? They'll be OK!

How are they so good when hardly any of the seniors have experience. With two returning on D and three of the top recievers gone.:confused:

 

Are NCC's numbers down some?

What did Holmes like to run offensively? Did their speed get outmatched by NCC's technique?

I would have to say that NewCath, over the last 5 years, has had above average to good team speed. Last year's team had excellent team speed. Holmes, indidvidually, might have a couple faster players, but as a team I would think that that wouldn't be an advantage over NewCath. That said, give Lickert time to have more athletes buy into his system, and you will see Holmes as one of the fastest overall teams around.
