They never really stopped; just nowhere near the radar like they were in the 90s. They have made some music prior to their new one and also did children's music. Brian Vander Ark also did some things on his own.

KYYANK Thanks for the blast from the past, I had not heard Husker Du in quite a while. I saw the Furs at Bogarts a couple of years ago. They were still pretty good.

Missed out on a lot of alt rock in college, while listening to classic rock. Mocked the college station and didn't realize what I was missing.
