January 9, 201511 yr Love Love Love World Party. In 2007 when they were in town to play at the Southgate House in Newport, my radio DJ friend was assigned to drive Karl Wallinger around town, so after the show I had an easier "in" to hang with him because I was hanging with her.

Yeah, big fan of World Party. After years of admiration I finally got to see Karl and Co. at the Palace in L'ville about a decade ago. Great show.

January 9, 201511 yr Not Terrapin Station? There are many fine Dead tunes that embody that unmistakable Dead sound, but for me "Ripple" just always manages to put a smile on my face, and a sense of peace in my heart that makes me want to hug somebody. It's a fine piece of musical poetry that goes straight to my soul.
