July 2, 201412 yr Author "Do To The Beast" by The Mighty Afghan Whigs, from Cincinnati, Ohio. Sides 1/2/3/4 on 45 rpm. Unfortunately, I reacted too late to get the highly-collectible white vinyl version of this, but I've got a legit '96 copy of "Black Love" that makes me not mind too much.
July 2, 201412 yr Author And frankly, I'm disappointed nobody else has called out that other band that has stolen part of their name. There is only one Whigs, and that is The Afghan Whigs. Biters need to step off. Knowing Greg Dulli, I can't help but think this reformation has at least a little something to do with the ego whack of that other band stealing their name. He's that damned cocky, and that petty. The new album's great, though.
