August 10, 200818 yr If you say so.... It's amazing how Reds fans think Dunn is so great, but there isn't a GM out there that wanted the guy on their team.... If the Reds let Dunn walk, he'll get his money. You can bet on that.

August 10, 200818 yr It's amazing how Reds fans think Dunn is so great, but there isn't a GM out there that wanted the guy on their team....It means they didn't want to pay the Reds' asking price for him ... nothing more, nothing less.
August 10, 200818 yr Every player has bad weeks and/or bad months ... Ludwick for the Cards had a terrible June but is now hotter than a firecracker and is in MVP discussions. It happens to all players.
August 10, 200818 yr Ludwick for the Cards had a terrible June but is now hotter than a firecracker and is in MVP discussions. It happens to all players. Do all players go in the tank every other month?
August 10, 200818 yr Dunn in the 9th inning this year? .343 .439 .743 1.182 Next... Maybe he should just pinch hit in the ninth. Sort of like a closer:lol:
August 10, 200818 yr My thinking is this. When the Reds are down by 1, with a runner on first and 2 outs, I would want Dunn or Phillips at the plate. Not Votto. Not Bruce. Not Hairston. Not Edwin. I'd want one of those two at the plate. It's just insane that Dunn is being used as a scapegoat for a Reds team that is mediocre at best from top to bottom. 2008 Dunn w/ runner on 1st 50 ABs .200 Avg 2 HRs 4 RBIs Yeah Dunns the one you want at the plate alright. This is like shooting fish in a barrel:flame:
