August 5, 200818 yr Yea I think it's hard to compare the Big Z and Barrett fight, cause Barrett was gone right after. I think Lou getting tossed more sparked that. And I wouldn't trade D. Lee for Fielder, so no I never would want to see Fielder in a Cubs Uni, he's a whiny punk. The Cubs have GREAT team chemistry and don't need that tub-o coming in
August 5, 200818 yr The Brewers are just to young and immatureI don't remember anyone using that excuse when Carlos Zambrano and Michael Barrett had a confrontation in the Cubs' dugout ...

August 5, 200818 yr Or Prince Fielder eat more:lol: He has plenty of room in those pants of his to fill out some more.:lol:
August 5, 200818 yr I don't remember anyone using that excuse when Carlos Zambrano and Michael Barrett had a confrontation in the Cubs' dugout ... Not sure what you are getting at, but I was referring to them being too young and immature to make a play off run. THe Big Z Barret incident happened 1 time, where as this is 2 seasons in a row where the Brewers have had a collapse and an inter team squabble.

A collapse? Gee, we still have almost two months left in the season ... and the Brewers still lead in the wild card race.

August 14, 200818 yr They were talking on sportscenter how this may help them. If anything fighting is only going to hurt the team. I strongly believe they have no shot at making the playoffs now. Team chemistry is a must for any championship. It sure hasn't hurt them. Have they lost since the shove?
August 14, 200818 yr It sure hasn't hurt them. Have they lost since the shove? No, they haven't, BUT they played the Reds 3 times, the Nats 4 times and now in the middle game of a series with the Padres. We will see how "great" this team is when they play the Dodgers this weekend. Give them credit for beating the teams they are supposed to beat, BUT they have played close to .800 baseball since the All Star break and they are still 4 games back in the loss column. I knew if they went on a long winning streak, people would credit to "the shove" and not to the fact they are playing the worst teams in baseball. This surge started long before their little pattycake match in the dugout. You don't count the 4 "quality" games the Brewers played against the Cubs, they are 17-4 since the All Star break.
