August 1, 200818 yr Hmm. Well maybe it's because SEC schools went 5-1 in bowl games not including 2-0 in BCS bowl games. Not to mention the national championship. I think the SEC has reason to be proud.

I think the SEC has reason to be proud. Trust me, the Big 10, the Big 12(or 8), the ACC, they've all had nice runs like that as well. And the SEC should be proud. But their is a fine line between proud and a Vandy fan talking about how the SEC is the greatest conference on the planet to anyone that will listen. I guess my point was it seems like the teams that are really proud of their conferences accomplishments are the ones that haven't really done a whole lot to increase said accomplishments and prestige. If your a UK fan and you get really excited about LSU winning the national title then that's a problem. If you need me to explain then I can't help you.........
