Kotchman till 2011 could be cheaper than those draft picks are going to be and another thing is you never know what kind of prospects they would have got out of it. It was a fine deal for both ends..It helps the Braves for the future and saves them money to spend in the offseason..

This trade definitely makes the Angels the team to beat in the Majors. The Angels get overlooked for having an average at best offense, scoring the 17th most runs in the majors. This puts them into the spot light as a lethal offense, to go along with their pitching.

They have the money to resign him in the offseason, he is one of the best all around baseball players in the game if not the best (does it all, hits on both sides of the plate, fields great, and has some pop), they have the best rotation in all of baseball, the best closer, a SOLID bull pen, and now add Tex to Vlad and Hunter and the best record in baseball you have the recipe for GREAT success. they also have the best manager in the game as well.
