Daniel vogelsang and Jordan Aumiller played against eachother when Boyle played Lexington Catholic in UK's 7 on 7 passing camp. Both players dominated the offensive end of the ball.

In my opinion the two best Tight Ends in state

 

Add Kirk Thomas (Hopkinsville) to that list of tight ends. 6'4, 220lbs, excellent blocker, good hands, 4.0 student.

Ryan Blackburn - OT (Belfry)

 

Nice size at around 6'3 300. Big strong kid who moves well for his size. Has the size to play at the next level, but would probably face a sharpe learning curve in pass protection.

 

Not listed on the major recruiting sites.

Pat Van Sant of CovCath will be the best defensive player in the north this year. IMO.

 

Pat is very, very good, but I'm not sure if I'd go so far as to say he's the best in the North quite yet. I know this is an "opinion" thread, but I think we have to wait until the season is completed before we can say with some evidence that Pat is the best. He certainly is one of the better lbers in this area of the state for sure.

 

I think Adam Dempsey is going to be one of the better O linemen from this area of the state. Since I haven't seen the entire state, I can't say that he is one of the top ones in the state though. He's decent size, quick feet and has great technique.
