He may have been safe...another....fate is on the AL's side here.

I think that the All Star game should go to a Men's softball team rule, as to where any player can be re-entered once.

It's a pretty stupid for a game like this but at this point they need pitchers so thats not going to help much.

^ I don't think it's horrible, since the beginning of time, if the ball beats the runner, they tend to be called out, we have the luxory of slow motion replays, the umpire doesn't, on both plays I would've called the runner out, even though they appeared not to be.

I'll give you the phantom tag call because that's a tough angle but the one at the plate really wasn't close.

 

Never understood why the home plate umpire was in that position. I guess it's all about the angles...
