Selig made it out of Milwaukee, no chance he makes it out of NY if he calls it a tie...

I still can't understand why the game starter can't pitch three innings and the next guy pitch three innings. You would have some pitchers left over. And why does Francona empty his bench in a tie game?

Like 2002, the blame falls with the managers if they call this game in a tie also.

At some point, you have to bunt the leadoff guy to second.

Bud is calling the club house to "fix" this as we speak.

But if it's a 9 inning game you would have used 2 pitchers in 2/3 of the game. You'd have some ticked off guys.

It's on the league for making a stupid rule in determining home field advantage. No one would care if it was a tie if it didn't 'count'.

Sticky, you got that right.

Home field advantage? Come on.

Good call.

But think of how many pitchers pitched on Sunday. Webb, Lincecum, Dempster even. That's three you really can't use. Nothing wrong with pitching three innings.

They're throwing in the bully on Tuesday anyway.

It's the league scribbles...it's the league... j/k

A pitchout seriously?

Home Field Advantage...

The ump was in a really bad position to make that call.....
