January 19, 201214 yr Theodore Roosevelt and John Muir at Yosemite in 1903. I have a print of this hanging near my desk.
January 19, 201214 yr This one was always real powerful to me..... Story behind it of course was the Vietnam war. Vietcong rebels ran through the streets of Saigon killing civilians and Saigon's police chief lost his entire family to the slaughter. This epic picture shows the cheif after a VC rebel was captured, the same morning his family was killed. POWERFUL STUFF! and horrendous reminder of the consequences of war.
