U.S. 'preparing the battlefield' in Iran

The U.S. waited two years after 9/11 and apparently still got it wrong. Was it worth it? Are things better?

 

Depends on who you ask, I've talked to troops that've said it is,.... I'd also be willing to bet that there are tens of thousands of Shi'ite's that also agree.....

I'm still waiting to find out why cover ops couldn't have been used in Iraq instead of war.

 

Should have been used...was the original plan. But like I have already stated the old traditional guard INSIDE the Pentagon wanted to get the traditional military involved. Most insiders at the time thought the WAR would be a walk in the park (which it was). But what the traditional army has never had a lot of success in was nation building....One of our Special Forces (Army's Green Berets) specific jobs.

 

The IRAQ war should have been handled in the same way Afgan was handled. Not much we can do too change that now...
