not sure that them landing one TE means that they could not still offer and land Vogelsang. How they project the current TE's on the roster and what seniors are graduating will determine how many TE's a school signs in one year.

While still possible, I don't think it's likely with the other needs they are looking to fill with the 09 class. 14 verbals are in, and they have yet to fill needs at OL, DB and LB. I hope he does become a Bearcat, but the chances were greatly reduced with the TE commit yesterday...

I didn't realize they were from Paintsville. I'd love to see the Cats go after him. If you are looking to bring in all around quality kids to your program then you aren't going to do much better than Vogelsang!

I think the only thing stopping UK is that they have at least a couple (likely 3) TE prospects that have committed already. I still say go after Vogelsang (I used to teach his brother at Lex Cath). When has a program said "We have too many big, athletic kids on our roster!"

I've got a best friend that coaches at the UofTenn and he said they go get all the kids they can that fit that bill. They start off putting them at LBer, DE,TE,FB then they have a couple left over that they make projects.

Sometimes the kids say they only want to play X position, and they don't want to switch positions, so that could have happened. There's a lot we don't know as fans that the coaches do. Sounds like a great kid!
