Today Owsley County hired Paul Green as the new Girls Basketball coach.

Good for him.

He's been there before, so he has experience, and has had success. And he has a good mix of young talent and veterans coming back next season.

They shouldn't have let him go the first time. Glad to see that the new administration cares about the kids and supports athletics.

I think it was great for him, to be the lady Owls coach!

Congrats to coach Green for returning to the sideline. Glad to see him there and wish him the best of luck with the talent he has to work with. Wish he could of stepped in a year earlier with that team.

Paul Green is a great coach. He was successful with the girls program before, winning two district championships and 4 All A region runner-ups, and was instrumental in the boy's 2005 district title. The future of the Lady Owls is in good shape with him as their leader.

Paul Green has also taken over as the new principal at Owsley County High. He will have his hands full coaching and being the principal, but I believe he can handle it. Good luck with both new jobs!!!!
