A Seattle Mariner. That's where he put up most of his HOF stats.

Griffey will no doubt go in as a Mariner. While his hometown is Cincy and he loves it here because of the family ties, his heart is with Seattle where he had some of his greatest moments.

 

I don't think any team or any amount of money could take away his proudest moment of getting to play in the same outfield as his dad and homer in the same game as his dad wearing a Mariner uniform.

Plus, he probably thinks he's jinxed coming to that terrible franchise & getting hurt every other day. He'll go in as a Mariner.

I'd love to see him go in as a Red, but I think it'll be with a Seattle hat on.
