I think Bonds gets 800 if he finds a AL team to sign him.

And he stays out of prison...:D

It has to be Bonds. Its not even really a close race.

I just forgot about Griff...I promise it's not that hard to comprehend...:thumb:

Actually it is....you start a thread on the night that Griff hits 600, and you forgot to include him. Was it just a coincidence that you started this thread on this night or what?

Ding, Ding, Ding.

Griffey gets the vote, an all-time great. But in 5-6 years when A-rod begins his chase of Barry, he will be tops of this list.

Ding, Ding, Ding.

Okay..

Bonds might be the greatest home run of hitter of all time - oh yeah, he actually IS the greatest home run hitter of all time.

He may have the most home runs.. but I can't consider him the greatest.

When he was hot, he was hitting a home run every 6 plate appearances. That's pretty great - juice or no juice.

With juice...not really.

Against pitchers on juice, it's rather impressive

With the caveat of this being "steroids or not", Bonds gets my vote, despite the fact that I hate his guts and everything he stands for. It would be a wonderful thing for baseball if A-Rod one day passes him and removes his scurvy name (and asterisk) from the record book.
