Now the one in a million chance that I would have cast a vote for Obama has disappeared.

June 3, 200818 yr At this point in time, Carter's endorsement does absolutely nothing. It might have helped Obama in the early primaries, it may even pick him up an extra superdelegate or 2. But it will have no effect on the general election.
