Harrison County cruises in the 10th Region Final. Brandon Martin pitched a complete game 3 hitter and won an unprecedented 3rd game in the regional tournament. Thats right, Martin was the winning pitcher in all 3 games for the Breds. Josh Moss hit a 2 run homer in the bottom of the first and Harrison was never really threatened after that. Harrison now advances to play West Jessamine in the Semi-State next week at Campbell County. Harrison County had 7 Sophomores in the batting order tonight with 2 Seniors and 1 Junior at Shortstop. They should be the early 10th Region favorite for 2009 and 2010.

Hopefully all you Campbell County and Scott High fans will come out and show support for the 10th Region Champion Thorobreds. Game time is 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Congratulations to the Thorobreds on yet another 10th Region Championship!

Nice win for the Breds hopefully this momentum carries on in semi state.

Congrats to Coach Whitaker and the Thorobreds!

Congrats to Harrison, Clearly the better team today, Martin was better than advertised, good luck next week.

Also I would like to congratulate the Eagles on a fine season, regional runner up is nothing to hang your head for, I would like to thank all the seniors for fine high school careers. Maybe now Scott will start getting respect in the 10th.

Congrats to both Harrison Co for winning the region, and to Scott for having a great season and making the regional finals.:thumb:

Congrats Harrison.

Congrats to Harrison on the win. Harrison and Clark were the class of the region (again). The two best coaches have the two best teams. Must be a connection.

Congrats to Harrison on the win and Scott on a good season. Good luck to Harrison in their semi-state.

Any word on the all tournament team?

I am not sure they have an All Tournament Team. If they did there is no doubt that Brandon Martin was the MVP.

Congratulations and good luck to Mac and the boys. Congratulations to Scott and the sheriff on a fine season.

Good Luck to Harrison County!

I am not sure they have an All Tournament Team. If they did there is no doubt that Brandon Martin was the MVP.

No doubt

Scott had a good season, but lets not kid ourselves, they had a cake walk to the finals. This was clearly the year to be runner up in the 37th district, based on how the draw played out.
