The purpose of the dress code is to promote an atmosphere for learning. Several of the publics in Jefferson are going to dress codes, and with some elementaries, even uniforms. The polos must bear a St. X logo. Also, no sagging pants, etc. I'm sure you get the picture.

 

I really don't like the idea of a dress code being that specific (polos, khakis, etc). But I wish there was stricter rules at the public schools I have been around.

The Buff 'n Blue won 16 state titles in sports ranging from boys' air riflery to girls' canoe paddling to wrestling to girls' water polo; 12 seniors received Division I athletic scholarships.

I'll admit, I'm not a fan of rating the top high school athletic programs in the country period. But, if SI did rate them and rated a school in Hawaii as the best in the country, then they just lost a lot of credibility.

 

Note to SI, Hawaii is an Island, seperated by hours from the rest of the country. I'll bet competing in Hawaii isn't quite the same as playing in the GCL, competing in Southern California, etc., etc.

 

Girls canoe paddling?? Who won the state Hula championship?

 

Boys riflery?? Who won the surfing title?

Cincy St. X must have reported 10th through 12th grade estimate. The OHSAA webiste shows their enrollment at 1173.

 

:thumb: OHSAA website lists schools enrollment in grades 10-12. Including the freshman, Cincy St. X. is between 1,500 and 1,600 most every year.
