Sure or let them pick up pop cans or get a job. I am personally sick and tired of taking care of people who won't take care of themselves, and then don't even have the gumption to go to school where by the way they can eat for free.

The problem there is probably that the parents spoiled the kid early on and now don't have the nerve stand up and make the kid mind. I bet my bottom dollar althought not in school has a cell phone, texting, a car and a Channel purse, and pretty much anything else she wants. Bust her tail end and let the chips fall where they may, but where I come from the parents (if the do that and don't brain damage or cripple her) would more than likely get a medal.

The "law" is a process that starts off small and like snow it accumulates and as time passes, the penalties get tougher on the kid. It may take time but patience is a virtue and usually works out for the best.

The way I see it, until a juvenile is no longer a juvenile the parent is responsible. You get in the parents back pockets.......and well.....there is a trickle down effect. The kid ends up suffering too.

This is where the schools miss corporal punishment....or even capital punishment.......just joking, well not about the corporal punishment anyway!!!!

ON second thought not about the capital punishment either. One less mouth to feed, if they are not going to contribute to society.

There's a fine line between fear and respect. Preferably, a parent should obtain respect first. When that fails, let wrath bring fear.

Paraphrased - Raise your children with discipline and teach them right from wrong or have kids that have no respect or regards for others.

 

Discipline should be gained by any means necessary.
