November 10, 200817 yr Why Kane wasn't brought back for FvJ is the million dollar question that has never really been answered. According to Kane he said he was just screwed over and never asked to come back, New Line says they just decided to go in a different direction and/or Kane was being difficult. The funny thing is, the guy who replaced him in FvJ is Ken Kirzinger. Ken is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and he was in Friday the 13th part 8, the one with Jason and the love boat. There is a scene towards the end of the movie when Jason goes into a diner and throws the cook up against the wall. That's Ken Kirzinger that gets thrown. Of course, for the new Friday film, they went with another stuntman Derek Mears. Everyone who has met David Mears said he is really, really nice. The only Jason's I haven't met in person is Richard Brooker who was Jason in part 3 and Derek Mears. I haven't met the fake Jason from part 5 yet. How was C.J. Grahm?
November 11, 200817 yr How was C.J. Grahm? CJ was really nice, like so many I only got a few seconds to talk to him. Each actor has their own little phrase when they sign something and with him it's "Jason Lives" If I remember correctly, I talked to him about all the deleted scenes or death scenes that had been cut down and censored by the MPAA. How frustrating that is for everyone involved to see their hard work just tossed aside. Like so many of the Jason actors, he is also a stuntman. He is just a very genuine guy and I knew that before I met him.
November 11, 200817 yr I had to re-read this thread, I'm hoping I haven't posted this picture before. You can't make out any of the signatures, but you get the general idea. So far, I have had the following people sign this: Ted White-Jason in part 4 Harry Manfredini-Composer for the first 8 films I believe Ken Kirzinger-Jason in FvJ Ari Lehman-little Jason that comes out of the water at the end of part 1 Betsy Palmer-Jason's mother in part 1 Adrienne King-Alice-only survivor in part 1 Victor Miller-He wrote part 1 CJ Graham-Jason in part 6 Steve Dash-Jason in part 2 I'm "hoping" to add a few more next year. I will eventually run out of room. I have Kane Hodder's autograph on a seperate poster that I showed on page 1 of this thread. Since I just met Steve Dash a couple weeks ago, his signature won't show up in this photo. You can kinda see Harry's musical notes that he does when he signs, that is on the left eye, right on the nose is CJ's autograph, underneath him is Victor Miller's autograph. Steve Dash signed right under there, I know everyone wanted all that info, so there ya go. : )

November 11, 200817 yr When is the next convention that you will be going to and where will it be? Next convention that I will be going to will be in March in Cherry Hill, NJ which is outside Philadelphia. Ironically enough, that convention starts on Friday, March 13th and runs that weekend. Something a little bit closer takes place the last weekend of March in Indianapolis. Last, but not least, there is a convention the first weekend of April in Cleveland. You can check out all the guest lists at these links: Cherry Hill, NJ convention http://monstermania.net/Convention12Guests.htm Indianapolis convention http://horrorhoundweekend.com/shows/200903/default.aspx Cleveland convention http://cinemawasteland.com/cinemashow/guests.html There is a convention that takes place every year in Louisville in August, there will be another horror convention in Lexington in October. There is always something going on and plenty of places to blow A LOT of money.
