Season Wrapping up. Who will win the 10th?

Yes Campbell County did beat Harrison at Harrison but one question? Who pitched for Harrison?

Also not only is it very hard to beat Harrison in the regionals but it's even harder to beat Harrison @ Harrison in the regionals. Especially when you have already beat them once already this year. It is very unlikely to beat a team like Harrison twice in one year at their home field. Not saying it can't happen but I would have to say Harrison has the edge over everybody since the Regionals is being played at their home field. But good luck to all teams. The 10th should be a very competitve tournament this year.

This is why I was giving Harrison Co the edge. of course you will have some in the region that says there is no such thing as home field..."court" advantage....:D

I don't believe I said that he did. I simply said that Harrison could not get the bats going. Every team has a bad day at the plate. :thumb:

When they last played The Camels pitched their #2 starter Bobby Estes who has a 1.125 ERA, 34 strikeouts, and 4 wins on the season. Are you sure they couln't get their bats going or was it that they just couldn't hit one of the top pitchers in NKY this year.

The winner of the 10th is going to have to have Pitching, Fielding, and Hitting. The Camels have a 3 man rotation in Jordan Woodruff, Bobby Estes, and Ben Franzen along with a proven bullpen, they have played the last 10 or so games almost erroless baseball, and have the hottest bats in NKY right now. To me they still have to be the favorite even though it may be biased opinion.

Like was said earlier, the 10th Region Tournament should be very exciting again this year. Harrison and Campbell have to be the co-favorites going in with GRC, Scott, Brossart and Montgomery capable of pulling an upset or two.

Never been more sure. Almost everyone would agree that the breds are tought to beat when they get runners on base, they usually find a way to get those runners across the plate. Failure to get runners on base against campbell the first go around, led to a loss. Which was caused by not getting the bats going. Harrison has been very very successful against all types of pitching. They're more successful against faster pitching. I don't believe that Bobby Estes touched 80, maybe not even 75.

No need to be trash talking the enemy and causing more hatred of my beloved Breds. Anything can happen on any given day. Just think back to 2004 or 2005 when Pendleton had us down 2-1 with 2 outs and nobody on base in the 7th inning in the first round of the Regional. John McVey singled and then James Custard hit what should have been a routine flyball that got caught in the jet stream at Clark County and carried over the fence for a 3-2 win. Harrison is not so good that they can't be beaten by at least 4 or 5 teams on any given day in the 10th Region Tournament.

I don't see the humor.. Saw Estes throw a couple times this year he throws a lot of strikes which makes him effective but he doesn't throw hard.. 80 on a good day.

I'm sorry I was laughing at breds balla saying that Bobby Estes may not even touch 75.

Maybe the kid had an off day when it comes to velocity. He did not throw very hard when the two teams fist met. He may be able to throw 80 on a good day. Just hope that day doesnt come against the breds if they risk pitching him again. 80 is meat for the breds. :thumb:

The Scott/Brossart matchup in the district tournament will be very interesting to watch. IMO, as biased as it may seem, I think the Eagles are better equipped to make a run in the Regional Tournament. They've got one of the best, if not the best, 1-2 punch in the 10th with Adkins and Adams and have great bats with Murray, Adams and Bianchi

This will be the most wide open 10th region tourney since Scott has been in the 10th, not saying Scott will even be there, they have to beat Brossart, so that will even be a dog fight.

The best way to solve this is bring your Juggs gun. I have seen him pitch every game and only Coffman, Woodruff from Campbell and Robbie Ross from Lexington Christian have thrown the ball harder than him.

I find that hard to believe because at the Scott CC game I was standing next to a scout from Indiana Southeast who clocked Adkins throwing 84 and Woodruff throwing 78, unless the radar was broken, I would say Adkins throws harder than him as well.

Also you may have not seen Adams from Scott throw, but he throws harder than Adkins. I would think the senior Martin from Harrison throws harder to.
