Everytime Gore opens his mouth he causes Global Warming.

^ Until you can prove yourself there is no global warming and spend a bunch of money on research then I don't see how you can judge him on this. To disagree is one thing but to call him a joke for trying to rid pollution and help the environment is a joke in itself.

"Global Warming" is a natural cycle. About a 500 - 1500 year cycle and is generated by the sun. The doom and gloom merchants like big Al will tell you otherwise so you'll help line their pockets, nice little scam that's been very rewarding to Gore and his cohorts.

NASA says the oceans have been cooling for at least the past five years. Gore says that the oceans have been warming and are to blame for the Myanmar cyclone. Who do you believe?

 

Al Gore stands to make hundreds of millions - if not billions by convincing people that man is causing global warming. If he is convincing, he will make the money regardless of the facts. That is quite a conflict of interest.

 

Gore is a fear mongering opportunist who deserves far more ridicule than I can possibly heap upon him in one lifetime.

I can and will say it, Al Gore is a Joke, the man proved that long before he decided to save the universe.

It's easy to denounce Gore, since the proof so many of you demand will not be in evidence until well after we're all dead and gone. And, as the effects of global warming won't be felt by us, but rather by our decendents, it must not be important. Once again, lack of foresight leaves our future generations to deal with the consequences of our inability to think beyond ourselves.

This is not a case of having nothing to lose by taking action even if Gore and his ilk are wrong. There is a real cost in being wrong about impending global disasters. Look at what our government's push for the adoption of ethanol has done to food prices. People are going hungry because corn prices have soared.

 

Does it not alarm you to hear a man with hundreds of millions of dollars to gain ridiculing scientists who point out that much of the evidence contradicts the theory of anthropogenic global warming? Do you agree with Al Gore when he equates global warming skeptics to people who believe the world is flat or that the lunar landings were a hoax?

 

How would falling for a probable hoax show any foresight? Run to State and I (and others) have posted quite a bit of data from reputable sources that contradicts what Gore has declared to be "settled science." Why, if anthropogenic global warming is settled science is Gore planning a $300 million ad campaign to sway public opinion? Would that money not be better spent collecting more conclusive scientific evidence, assuming the theory is sound?

 

I may be mistaken, but I do not believe that all of the US oil companies combined have spent close to $300 million refuting Gore's global warming theory, yet scientists who accept any money from the oil industry are ridiculed. Why do liberals place Gore on a pedestal when he is attempting to use the media to gain public support for a shaky theory that would net him hundreds of millions of dollars in profits? Why does Gore deserve a free pass for attempts to distort the evidence with an expensive media blitz?

He is such an idiot. I throw up in my mouth every time I'm reminded that he won the nobel prize.

 

I certainly agree, the "Prestige" that goes with that award just lowered it's standards dramatically.

 

Al Gore just about completely discredited the Democratic party by himself by making an absolute laughing stock out of himself with not only this latest charade but when he lost the presidential election. After that I noticed that even his own party started to distance themselves from him.

For those interested in statistics, April was the coldest April for the US in 11 years - a full 1 degree Fahrenheit colder than the average temperature for this century. I would say that I hate to be the bearer of more bad news for Al Gore's faltering theory of gloom and doom but...somebody has to do it! :lol:

Not really, I know better. I understand the natural cycle generated by the sun. Not to mention, I'm not duping anyone for millions.

1. I'm so thankful that Gore didn't win in 2000

2. Global Warming is a theory that can not stand up to true scientific scrutiny.

3. Al Gore has numerous conflicts of interest with business investing in the "green" movement.

4. The American people are way too gullible and believe at face value what ever the current media/internet driven crisis is.
