Bud Mackey - Jailed

Featured Replies

It would be better for him to be far away from home imo.

That why he wants to stay close to home cause he wants to stay close to family(good people)... he said he wanted to go to UK...

I hope he gets another chance to play basketball. But thats not the most important thing for him. He may just be saying all the right things, but he sounds like a young man who has just had reality set in and is realizing how bad he has messed up.

That is the truth! :ylsuper:

Assuming he finds a way to meet the criteria for geting accepted into UK:

1. Can a coach turn down the opportunity to walk-on? If it is an open tryout for players to walk-on can BCG refuse giving Mackey a shot?

2. Assuming he meets Gillespies criteria do you allow the kid to join the team then as a walk-on?

How often do 4 or 5 star players Walk-on? HAHA

1. Sure he can. Its his team.

2. I wouldn't have a problem with it if he had everything in order, and was keeping out of trouble. However, he would have to be on a VERY short leash.

Always hate to see a young person throw there future away.
