But if not mistaken Cov Cath didn't have their top 3 guys on the mound... Bellevue has the potiential to knock ONE team out of the 9th region tournament but NO chance of winning it this year..

 

I have to agree with you. The Regular season does not mean a thing in the long run and don't get me wrong the Bellevue is playing some great baseball right now. They have enough to knock one team off I do believe but to win it all, they just do not have enough this year.

I do not consider them a serious contender in '08. They have a weak schedule and only have good wins against Highlands and Cov Cath. Other then those two wins, they pretty much have lost to all other decent NKY opponents.

 

It wouldn't be impossible for them to be overlooked and make a run in the tourney, but again I do not consider them a serious contender.

 

However with this being said, I am glad to see Coach Sanders making such big improvements. He is slowly but surely building a program, and it wouldn't be hard to see them as a serious contender in a few years. Good Luck to them the rest of the season!

 

Very accurate. They most certainly had a big win against CCH this weekend, but that came on the heels of losses to NCC, Scott, BHS, Ryle, Highland, and Silver Grove. They are indeed up and coming, but really can't be considered a legitimate threat to run the region this year.

Ryle has flaws and weaknesses.. Just like every other team.. IMO no chance to win the 9th
