I can't help it that you admire Gore and I'm sorry if it upsets you that I slam him when he needs it.

You should not and cannot fairly examine the issue of global warming without examining the integrity and motivation of the advocates of both sides of the argument. Evidence that contradicts the case for man made global warming rarely gets picked up by the major wire services, so the Goer vision of the world gets much wider exposure.

 

Many schools are teaching man made global warming as "settled science" and many people, including Al Gore, are making a killing off of the unsubstantiated theory.

 

Most of the earth is covered with water and the fact that ocean temperatures are headed in the opposite direction of what the global warming alarmists claim that surface temperatures are moving casts considerable doubt on the world view pushed by Al Gore, yet most people will never hear about the declining ocean temperature.

 

As RTS said, follow the money if you want to find the truth about the global warming scare. An amazing amount of that money is pouring into the pockets of Al Gore, his friends, and his business associates.

That's fine with me RM, I guess I'm just saying I'd rather see the money we're wasting on nothing more than a wild guess on more important issues. That's my biggest problem with it.

 

 

Honestly, in the overall scheme of things, who's wasting the money? I don't see the US, as a government/country, really spending all that much money on environmental concerns. Unless you're talking of individuals wasting their money.....????
