If you've been paying attention in P&R at all, you would know he's not my boy. I don't like any of the three. I know he's closer to your view than mine, that's why he's a RINO. Just ask LN or BF, they both know I'm NOT a McCain fan.

Sad thing is, if I think it will be a tight race at, I'll have to vote and vote for McCain. Regardless of my feelings for McCain, the other two options are unacceptable for me.

 

I have only recently begun to pay close attention to the P&R forum again. I do know there are some that made him out as the anti-Christ a couple of years and are now sucking his face. Glad to know your not one of them. I have some issues with all three of these candidates.

Now Hillary is challenging Obama to a debate without moderators so that he will not be able to whine about the unfair questions.

 

Hillary's surrogates will be challenging Obama's manhood repeatedly in the next few days. Obama is increasingly looking like a wimp who can read a teleprompter well.

 

Because of his inexperience, Obama comes across like the political equivalent of a butter fingered power hitter that cannot be trusted on the field in the late innings of a close game. All bat - no glove.

:thumb: I agree on all counts. I was watching Larry King with Carville, Begala, Wexler, et al with my sonyesterday and just after I outlined the strategy that I would use against Obama, Carville started attacking Obama for ducking debates. The Clinton camp is pretty predictable after watching them for the past 15 years. I do think that Obama's whining seems more heartfelt than the Clintons' whining. :lol:

 

Hillary's suggestion of a moderator-less debate is a stroke of political genius, IMO, because it neutralizes Obama's whining about the unfairness of Stephanopoous and Gibson's questions during the ABC debate. It also calls into question Obama's explanation that he wants to spend the next couple of weeks speaking directly to the voters of Indiana and North Carolina. What better way to reach a maximum number of voters than to engage in a modern version of the Lincoln-Douglas style debates?

 

I think that Hillary should challenge Obama to a debate on the steps of the Indiana Capitol at high noon and that she should be there waiting to debate him whether he shows up or not. When he fails to show, then she should launch into a speech asking why we should expect that he will be effective in dealing with the leaders of North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Hamas, and Al Qaeda if he is afraid to debate the "serious issues facing our country" face to face with "little ole me."

 

I know that Clinton is having money problems, so I am giving her this advice for free and the publicity generated by Obama's no-show would also cost nothing.

I don't think he's afraid of the format as much as he doesn't want to give Hillary free publicity when she's struggling for funds. Questions have been raised about her one day fundraising numbers after PA.
