Who wins and how many games will it go?

I could see Denver winning in 6 or 7 games. I think this worked pretty well for Denver. Funny thing is every matchup in the West is pretty good. I mean all teams have 50 wins or more. It'll be some good basketball, I may even watch a game or two.

The Lakers in 5...Denver isn't good enough to beat LA consistently. It should be an entertaining series though. Both teams like to get up and down the court and both score a lot. The difference, IMO, is the Lakers are more capable of cranking up their defense than the Nuggets and that will be the difference in playoff basketball.

Denver could push this series farther than expected, but I don't give them a great shot of winning it.

^ Defense will probably keep Denver from winning the series but those two offenses are gonna be hard to slow down. I think defending Gasol will be the difference.

I don't think this worked out well for Denver. Wouldn't you rather be playing the Hornets?

Definitely...My guess is that both Phoenix and Denver would love to switch opponents with Dallas. The Mavs got a great draw for a low seed...they got a Hornets team that has to answer some questions when it comes to playoff basketball and they avoid a potential matchup with LA in round 2.

As someone on ESPN calls the Nuggets... The enver Nuggets, no D. Lakers in 5.

Lakers in 5. Bynum will be back at some point during this series and once he comes back I really don't see Denver having an answer for the big 3 (Kobe, Gasol, Bynum).

Fantastic 4 really, Kobe-Odom-Gasol-Bynum.

Hate to rain on the Laker parade but it was just reported that Bynum will miss the entire first round of the playoffs....It keeps looking more and more like he is going to end up missing the rest of the playoffs and will just be back next season.

At max he would have been playing 20 minutes a game. I don't think this is a big shock to the Lakers they know what is going on with him. I think they will be just fine.
