So then we can equate keeping score to doing calculus........................ In calculus you are working with imaginary numbers in an imaginary plane of existence, so the kid hit a homerun but because of the error(which I am not sure it was scored as) which occurred prior to the homerun, was an unearned imaginary run that scored two other unearned imaginary runs in a plane of existence where the batting team did not score the runs but the team in the field gave them through their imaginary pitch which the batter took it yard using his imaginary bat. OK thanks for clearing that up!!!! :thumb:

Nobody is taking the homerun away, it just doesnt count as a earned run. Its actually very simplistic to understand if you think about it.

Stork that is not completely correct. The homerun was real, the two runs that were knocked in because of the home run, were real. That is real hard to take if it happens to your team, if you for real should have already made the third out. It does make the runs unearned for real, this is starting to make my head reel.

The error was not on a foul ball, the foul ball hit the top of the fence and went over it. The error was after the first two batters were retired and the shortstop made an error on a grounder that would have been the third out before any of the five runs scored.

Now that we got all the earned or unearend out of the way, an L is an L no matter what the earned runs are. Even though whom ever thought a walk was unearned please tell me your kidding me right? It's a tough way to lose a game and to lose a winning streak, not to take anything away from the camels but the competition during that streak wasn't that great either only facing one or 2 teams that have above .500 records and those two teams are only 1 or so games above .500, but at the same time the camels can start another one and hopefully gained some confidence after such a rough start. Just further shows how rough the 10th regoin is going to be this year. Still only 2 teams stand out amongst everyone and we all know who those two are, and those are the ones more towards the central part of KY.

I know the competition wasnt that great but to finally see the kids playing game in and game out without making fundamental errors was very promising. They were just starting to jell as a team and as everyone should know when you play together and pull for each other you can accomplish alot. The Camels have alot of talent not great talent but good solid players and can do some good things and noone seems to count them amongst some of the better teams in Northern Kentucky. Soon or later though they will get on a roll and when they do they will beat some good teams. They had Lex.Christ. beat 4-2 until they had tons of errors in the 6th inning. OK enough of my ramblings.:walk:

How many homers does Richie Cox now have on the year?

He homered against Augusta, Campbell Co. and Russell.
