Heard today that due to teaching jobs, they had to stay within district. Also heard that Tussey was going to Belfry as head coach and Amanda Collins Stiltner would be at Pike Central. Not sure if this is a fact or just someones thoughts. With all the budget cuts, this may well be the way it has to go.

This RUMOR was put in a column in the Medical Leader. Everything you read is not true. While Collins-Stiltner may end up at Pike Central, I seriously doubt that Tussey will drive that far to Belfry. She would lose money doing that. She likely makes more driving a bus.

Heard today that PC was looking outside the region as well as inside and that a current coach in the 12th region was contacted or had made contact and was being highly considered. Anyone else heard any other news about this position?

Who would be the leading candidates if that 12th region coach goes for his old position( Southwestern?)

I dont know if Rice would leave Southwestern this year or not. He has a good squad returning next year that could challenge for the region. But moving back home to the Mountains is a BIG attraction.

Any new news on the PC job? Will they have to wait 30 days before interviews begin? I look for someone to be in place before summer camps start. Rice does have a good team returning at Southwestern,but PC will have a good team returning also. That could weigh in his decision to move, if offered the job.

Did you get this info from a reliable source? When will this be announced to the public? I heard that interviews were to start next monday, after the 30 days were up. If this is true, I would be totally surprised, I thought they would go with someone with head coaching experience. Maybe their hands were tied with lack of teaching positions. After talking with some of the parents of players, most of them mentioned Tim Rice of Southwestern as the frontrunner. Was he ever contacted or just not interested or were there no teaching positions?
